The production of sand moulded, copper and aluminium based castings is the core business undertaken by JT Price & Co at our ISO 9002 accredited foundry located in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire.

With moulding box sizes ranging from 250mm sq. to 3660mm sq. 'one off' or 'batch' quantities of castings can be produced using traditional hand skills, via either Air-Set or Green Sand moulding processes.

Production can be undertaken using existing pattern equipment, where available. When new patterns are required, we can offer a high-class pattern making service utilising our in-house pattern shop.

All castings are made from recognised ingot specifications and where called for, are tested internally for Chemical and Mechanical properties using our own spectrometer and laboratory facilities.

Proof and final machining of castings is an additional service we can offer from within our small but highly flexible machine shop, while our stockholding facility allows us to offer a variety of bar, tubes and plate from 'off the shelf'.
